Our websites feature creative, customised designs with the emphasis on simplicity and usability. We ensure that pages are optimised for fast and efficient downloading, so not keeping your potential customers waiting.
User friendly CMS websites
We design and build user friendly content management system websites, which means you can easily update the website content yourself once built. We offer full training once the site is live.
Designing for mobile devices
Designing for mobile is becoming increasingly popular as the usage of mobile browsing rises on smart phones and tablets. We have to take into consideration not just designing for a computer screen but come up with aesthetically pleasing pages on a much smaller size scale.
We take into consideration when designing a website for mobile that users are visiting your website to view the content so sticking to a lightweight layout that clearly presents content in an organised and easily accessable fashion will give mobile users an engaging experience.
The importance of user experience (UX)
When designing a website we take into account the importance of usability. UX is the experience, emotion, intuition and connection a user feels when using a site or product.
Most people come to your website looking for something; whether it's information, a product they want to buy or a sign that you are an expert in your field.
Creating a positive user experience will bring someone back to your website because they found what they are looking for simply and quickly. Visitors want what they are looking for, and have an expectation of their questions being answered.
Part of a good website user experience is having that information ready for them to easily find, along with your website layout being attractive and easy to read on smart phones, tablets and larger screens.
We can help guide you as to your specific needs for your project
Whether you have a new website to develop or want to redesign your existing one, we will ensure that your website will be finished to the highest standard, within the agreed time frame, and to budget. And more importantly, making the whole process an enjoyable experience.
Our Design Process
STAGE ONE – Research and Planning
The first step of a web design project is learning what you want the site to do: your overall objectives, the purpose of the website, your audience and the features you require. From this we can discuss your budget and what we can achieve within your budget and timeframe.
We will spend time researching the field or industry that you are in. Once we have a solid, objective understanding of the field or industry, we understand what you, the client does and who your target audience is.
STAGE TWO – Wireframing
Once we have an idea of your requirements we decide on the most appropriate content management system web platform to build your site.
We create a wireframe mockup or layout of your website to give you an idea of how it could look. This would include the use of your logo and other brand assets, headers, content areas, social sharing and footers.
At this stage no actual design e.g. fonts, images or actual content are used, this is just to give an idea of layout on each page.
STAGE THREE – Design and build
Once we have approval of the wireframe mockup we go ahead and bring in design features such as headers, images (photography may need to be organised or we can use stock images all depending on your budget) and add content. You will be able to view the test website in your browser.
STAGE FOUR – Testing and Launch
During the testing process we run diagnostic test to check for bugs, broken links, spelling errors etc. We test on all major browsers and mobile devices to check for responsiveness of the website.
As soon as we have approval of the finished website, your website goes live!
